"The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have received it."
~ Hubert H. Humphrey
Friendship is something that is often underestimated. It is something that makes me feel at home and at ease. It makes me feel part of a team. A team that looks out for one another and has each others backs. The power of friendship is never more apparent then when we all help each other out when we are struggling in school. This doesn't mean cheating at all. It means that when one of us is struggling, the other person helps out and gives help to the friend in need. I often times I get home and have problems with the homework I am doing. I don't understand the material and am having a hard time wrapping my head around the concept. I get on my phone and call my friends. They are always glad to help me and are patient with me. They take their time and really help me understand what I am doing. I leave knowing better what to do because of their generosity and help. Just the brief little things such as my friends helping my out with my school work shows me how powerful friendship really is. That I have friends who take time out of their day to help me says a lot, and makes me really thankful for the friends I have. Friendship is something that is often over looked, but when you are in need friends will always be there for you.
