At first, when reading the short story, "The Tell Tale Heart" I was confused. But that confusion quickly went to curiousity, as the tricky beginning of the story actually intrigued me by want to know what was going on. The suspense throughout the whole story killed me, especially when the protagonist constantly checked on the old man as he slept every night. As I continued to read, I got a better understanding of the story, but was never bored by it. The author kept adding in twists and turns that contradicted what I thought was coming next. "The Tell Tale Heart" provided an entertaining story for me that really made me think and stretch my mind.
