After reading the short story, "The Sniper" it is clear to me how important feeling and passion is when writing. While reading "The Sniper" I can list numerous times when the author used feeling and passion that made me intrigued while reading. I was always asking myself, "what's next? What's going to happen?" The writer did such an exceptional job on hooking me in and making me ask myself questions. My favorite part of "The sniper" were the riveting moments when the sniper was spotted on the roof after taking a puff of his cigarette and a bullet whistled by his ears. Because this was at the beginning of the story it hooked me in and made me ask for more. Even though this story is only seven pages long, if it were one hundred pages I would still be invested in reading the duration of the story because it is so action packed and suspenseful.
