My alarm jolts my body upright at 6:30 in the morning. A time that had become so foreign to me, after those late sleep in summer days. I get out of bed, eyes half shut, and slouch my way to the shower. The steaming hot water instantaneously sends a shiver through my skin and wakes me up. After my shower I head downstairs and grab my typical breakfast. A breakfast that consists of strawberries, cinnamon toast, OJ, and hot cocoa. Breakfast flies by almost too quickly and I soon have to make my way back upstairs to "freshen up." I look in my closet and grab some of my preppiest looking clothes to make sure I look good on my first day. Because looking good really matters when you go to an all boys school. I brush my teeth, comb my hair, and get rid of my "B.O," most importantly. Now, I'm already to go. I run downstairs in fear of missing the bus. I grab my backpack which feels just about the weight of a cinderblock. My mom wishes me a good day, and i'm on my way. It's the first day of school.
